SUMMARY:Recovery Boards - A Free Woodworking Class at HatchSpace
DESCRIPTION:Recovery Boards:\r \n Learn Woodworking Through the Recovery of Cutting Board Factory Seconds\r \n Program Overview:\r \n HatchSpace\, in collaboration with Turning Point of Windham County and JK Adams\, is pleased to offer a 7-week evening class in introductory woodworking for people in recovery. \r \n Working with factory seconds donated by JK Adams\, students learn how to take cutting boards with imperfections and rework them into beautiful\, finished cutting boards using a variety of woodworking tools and techniques. Over the course of the program\, participants complete anywhere from six to twelve finished cutting boards or even more depending on which techniques they elect to use. \r \n Class Schedule:Seven Tuesday nights\, 5:30pm - 8:00pm beginning Tuesday\, February 17 through Tuesday\, March 31\, 2026\r \n &nbsp\;\r \n How to Register:Interested students who are in active recovery should complete this form for next steps.
