DESCRIPTION:Co-hosted by The Root Social Justice Center and HatchSpace\, our BIPOC Maker Workshops are an opportunity for anyone who self-identifies as Black\, Indigenous\, or a Person of Color to come find and create community around woodworking. All workshops are free\, and designed for beginners - no woodworking experience is necessary!\r \n &gt\;&gt\; Monday\, March 2\, from 5:30 to 8:00pm \r \n Featured Activity: Make a Wooden Cutting BoardBuild your own wooden cutting board using common woodworking machines and finishing techniques. Learn essential woodshop safety basics in a supportive environment perfect for beginners.\r \n Cost: Free and open to the BIPOC community. Registration is required to reserve your seat\, but drop-ins may be accepted if space is available.
