DESCRIPTION:Epsilon Spires is excited to present the 2nd of three exceptional\r \n live contemporary and avant-garde music performance in April\,\r \n this time on April 25th featuring New York City based Saxophonist\r \n Caroline Davis (solo) and long time Southern VT/Western\, MA\r \n pianist and composer Matan Rubinstein (solo)\r \n &nbsp\;\r \n Apr 25\, 2026\, 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM $25\r \n Epsilon Spires\, 190 Main St\, Brattleboro\, VT 05301\r \n CAROLINE DAVIS - MATAN RUBINSTEIN | Epsilon Spires\r \n &nbsp\;\r \n Caroline Davis’ work is steeped in Chicago’s avant-garde Jazz community yet\r \n she constantly strives to transcend the form\, the instrument and their usual\r \n contexts. Now based in Brooklyn\, her music has expanded even more\, where\r \n she often incorporates electronics into her dynamic sound performances.\r \n Epsilon Spires will be the final performance of her eighteen date tour supporting\r \n her new Album Fallows. caroline davis\r \n &amp\;\r \n A rare area performance from pianist and sound artist Matan Rubinstein\r \n (Turners Falls\, MA) created specifically for our resonant Sanctuary space\, and\r \n also who has strong connections to the community from his time teaching at\r \n Marlboro. Rubinstein draws on his multi-disciplinary Jazz and Classical\r \n background and spatial Sound Design to conjure unique auditory worlds.
