Each excursion is unique and designed to inspire family fun in the great outdoors.\r \n  Hike and Seek Events:\r \n 2/7– Winter Detectives II at West River Trail &\; cornfield\r \n On part 2 of 2 tracking programs we will visit different habitats to find a variety of tracks and signs of animals in winter.\r \n 3/7 – Winter Wings at BEEC\r \n We will observe the birds that call BEEC home and play some bird games.\r \n \r \n 3/21 – Sweetness Rising (at local sugarhouse)\r \n Sweetness Rising - Join us for a tour of a sugar house while the maple sap is running! We will also play some forest games.\r \n 4/4 – Bursting Buds at BEEC\r \n Join us on a scavenger hunt searching for the magic of early spring.\r \n 4/18 – Spring Wings at Hinsdale Setbacks\r \n Come celebrate with us - the migrating birds are returning with spring!\r \n 5/2 – Vernal Pool Party at BEEC\r \n Springtime is when vernal pools come to life! Join us to meet mysterious creatures in their underwater home.\r \n 5/16 – Forest Flowers at Round Mt.\r \n We will enter the magical world of nature and find the spring ephemerals blooming on the forest floor.\r \n 5/30 – Paddle Out at Retreat Meadows\r \n Come on out on a paddling safari to discover the bustling life both big and small. We will have canoes for families. (max 10 families with no lifeguard)\r \n 6/6 – Bedrock\, Blooms &\; Berries at Little Black Mt.\r \n  Join us on a hike upon a granite dome in search of mountain laurel blooms and early lowbush blueberries.
