DESCRIPTION:Co-hosted by The Root Social Justice Center and HatchSpace\, our BIPOC Maker Workshops are an opportunity for anyone who self-identifies as Black\, Indigenous\, or a Person of Color to come find and create community around woodworking. All workshops are free\, and designed for beginners - no woodworking experience is necessary!\r \n &gt\;&gt\; Saturday\, April 18\, from 10am to 2pm \r \n Featured Activity: Make a Wooden Crankie BoxCome to HatchSpace for a fun\, hands-on family workshop in an inclusive and supportive environment where you and your young one can gain some shop experience! This workshop is open to participants ages 6 and up\, with a required one adult guardian per child. Space is limited\, so be sure to register early for this creative\, kinetic activity!\r \n \r \n Open to: Youth age 6+ of all identities and their BIPOC+ and/or ally families\r \n Cost: Free to participants. Registration strongly encouraged as space is limited. Drop-ins will be accepted on a space available basis.
