SUMMARY:Black Bears: A Conservation Success Story
DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Earth Day\, on Wednesday April 22 at 7:00 PM the Green Mountain Conservancy will host a 1 1/2 hour presentation “Black Bears: A Conservation Success Story” with Jaclyn Comeau\, Bear Specialist with Vermont Fish and Game.  The talk will be at Centre Congregational Church (in the Parlor)\, 193 Main St.\, Brattleboro\, VT.\r \n \r \n She will describe black bear ecology and biology\, the history of bears in Vermont\, their current status\, and what we all need to do to prevent conflicts and better share Vermont with bears.\r \n \r \n She will also provide practical steps we can all take to prevent conflicts and keep Vermont a great place for bears to live. This program is free and all are welcome.
