DESCRIPTION:Deer Run Nature Preserve Hike led by Roger Haydock on April 25th\r \n \r \n When: Saturday\, April 25th\, 2026\r \n Time: 10 AM\r \n Where: Deer Run Nature Preserve Dummerston VT\r \n On April 25 at 10 AM\, Roger Haydock\, well-known trail developer\, will lead a hike on the Monument Trail (2 miles) and the Shoulder Trail (1/2 mile) at the Deer Run Nature Preserve at 922 Camp Arden Road in West Dummerston.  Meeting at the trail head\, hikers will proceed on a beautiful woodland trails through various forest hikes to a curious stone structure of unknown origin at the summit.  From there\, they will take the 1/2 mile Shoulder Trail to expansive views of the West River Valley.  The entire hike should take about 2 hours.\r \n With notification in advance\, a shorter\, less rigorous hike with a naturalist guide can be arranged.   Please e-mail greenmountainconservancy@gmail.com or call (802)257-0012 if you would like to take advantage of this option.\r \n \r \n \r \n &nbsp\;
