SUMMARY:&#8220\;Shorts&#8221\; at Guilford Center Stage
DESCRIPTION:Opening our 11th season\, Guilford Center Stage presents 8 short plays in an evening.  4 are by playwrights from Guilford\, Halifax and nearby towns\, others by authors from further off.  A comedy about a mouse\, and another about dogs\, share the bill with pieces on Jewish history\, and two set in Boston: on a university campus and in the North End.  Landscape painting\, a breakfast drama\, and a Valentine's proposal round out the program.  17 area actors\, working with 6 directors\, bring this show to the stage at Broad Brook Community Center for performances April 30 through May 3.  Tickets\, at $16\, including sales tax\, are available this time just at the door.  Cash\, check\, Venmo\, PayPal.  All seating is general admission.  A half-gallon of Guilford maple syrup will be a door prize at each show.  The fully-accessible community center is at 3940 Guilford Center Road\, under 4 miles west of the Country Store.
