DESCRIPTION:Shemot Shelah\, a Jewish kirtan band\, led by musician/storyteller Anna Sobel\, will offer Hebrew call-and-response chanting\r \n on Friday\, June 5\, at 6 pm.\r \n  \r \n Kirtan is a devotional practice that uses feminine and non-binary names for the Divine. It opens the heart and paves the way for states of bliss and peace\r \n \r \n  Storytelling will play a part in the event\, as Anna Sobel brings to light historical women’s practices that relate to this. form of chanting\r \n \r \n A catered dinner will follow. Suggested donation $15 - $25.
