SUMMARY:Hike at Deer Run Nature Preserve
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 10th at 10am\, Roger Haydock will lead a hike sponsored by Green Mountain Conservancy on the popular Deer Run Nature Preserve. This hike is for seasoned hikers.  The planned hiking route is 3.8 - 4.6 miles. Highlights include: babbling brooks\, ancient trees\, stone walls\, hardwood savannas\, and spectacular views. Some sections of this hike are steep.  Sturdy hiking boots are recommended.  Bring a lunch.\r \n \r \n Directions: Meet at the Deer Run parking lot at 940 Camp Arden Rd. in Dummerston\, VT. There will be directional signs from the east side of the Dummerston Covered Bridge.
