The first public exhibition game of basket ball ever played in Brattleboro will be contested Saturday evening at the armory at 8 o’clock between teams representing the local Y.M.C.A. and Vermont Academy. Basket ball possesses many of the attractions of foot ball, while the roughness of that game is eliminated.
