Lyn Slater at Brattleboro Literary Festival

I invite you to join me at this year’s Brattleboro Literary Festival where I will be in conversation with LYN SLATER, author of “How to be Old: Lessons in Living Boldly”. The book is a most fabulous read – intelligent, entertaining and enlightening –  just like Lyn herself !

Lyn Slater is all about the vitality of change: reinvention, transformation and finding your true self.  With a long career as a professor and social worker, Lyn always explored sidelines to express herself creatively.

And then, in her 60’s, and not by plan, she became “The Accidental Icon”  – a cultural influencer, fashion model and writer; with a fan base of a million followers across all platforms. In her memoir, she writes about this glorious, wild ride and how she decided to let it go for a different life where, once again, she is reinventing and discovering her self in a new decade.
