Christ Church Outdoor Concert Features BUHS Jazz Band

The Brattleboro Union High School Jazz Band will be performing at a free outdoor concert at Christ Church, Algiers Village, Guilford, on Thursday, May 29, at 6:00 pm, directed by Alex Brady.

Admission is free, and, of course, donations are welcome toward the renovations on the building. Among the projects is restoration of the iconic spires on the church steeple, damaged by lightning two summers ago as well as the interior, with its treasured acoustics.

Christ Church is on US Route 5, just south of the Guilford Country Store. Bring your blanket or lawn chair. Relax, bring kids, and enjoy the music. If inclement weather, the event will take place under the Pavillion of Guilford Community Park. Light refreshments will be served.
