Celebrate the Solstice at Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center this Friday, June 19th. We invite all, with a special invitation to newcomers to the area, to consider a few of the pleasures of summer evenings—fireflies, the music of thrushes, and bats. We will treat you to refreshments and a short presentation. Learn some fun facts that you can use to wow your friends and deepen your appreciation for the nature of Vermont. Take a sunset stroll to watch for bats, listen to thrush songs, and count the flashes of fireflies. Learn a few tips for making your own backyards happy places for summer evening performers.
This event is free with a suggested donation of $10.
