Couples Woodworking: Paired Charcuterie Boards

Experience Level: Beginner
Celebrate Valentine’s Day together in the woodshop. In this special couples class, you and your partner (or a friend!) will work side by side to design and create a matching pair of charcuterie boards. This relaxed, guided workshop is perfect for beginners – no previous woodworking experience is needed.

Learn. Students will learn safe and approachable woodworking techniques while designing and cutting two interlocking boards. Instruction includes using the bandsaw and drill press, refining shapes and surfaces with a variety of shop sanders, and applying a food-safe, natural oil finish to bring out the beauty of the wood grain.

Make. Each pair will take home a coordinated set of high-quality charcuterie boards in their own custom design, crafted from a mix-and-match selection of beautiful hardwoods.

Cost per couple: $165 non-members: $140.25 members (plus an additional $30 materials fee).
