On April 25 at 10 AM, Roger Haydock, well-known trail developer, will lead a hike on the Monument Trail (2 miles) and the Shoulder Trail (1/2 mile) at the Deer Run Nature Preserve at 922 Camp Arden Road in West Dummerston. Meeting at the trail head, hikers will proceed on a beautiful woodland trails through various forest hikes to a curious stone structure of unknown origin at the summit. From there, they will take the 1/2 mile Shoulder Trail to expansive views of the West River Valley. The entire hike should take about 2 hours.
