Local Artists Display at Welcome Center

Ann Newsmith will be showing her watercolor paintings at the Guilford Welcome Center from May 7 to June 4. Her work focuses primarily on flowers and landscape scenes from Vermont and Mexico. Also on view is a series of photographs, Faces of Mexico, that she and Norm Oakes have taken over the many years they’ve spent in various regions of Mexico.

A reception is planned for Saturday, May 23, 4 – 6 pm. The Welcome Center is located on I-91 northbound between Bernardston, MA and Brattleboro, and is open 7 am to 7 pm. You can view Ann’s recent paintings at https://www.facebook.com/annnewsmithwaterccolors
