Throughout the month of June, local artist and teacher Lynn Zimmerman presents Watercolor Discoveries, a group show of work by her students at the Crowell Gallery in Newfane. These 20 women artists, who have studied with Lynn in her online classes, will share a variety of paintings in watercolor. Most of the artists are local, although a few live elsewhere in the U.S. Each artist will share a discovery made while exploring this challenging and rewarding medium.
A reception will be held at the gallery on Saturday, June 7, from 1 – 3 p.m. Many of the original pieces will be for sale. An array of prints and cards will also be available for purchase at the reception or on request.
The Crowell Gallery is located in the Moore Free Library, 23 West St., Newfane. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 1 to 5 p.m., Thursday 1 to 6 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The show will run from Tuesday, June 3 through Saturday, June 28. painting by Leigh Kamm
