Our annual village meeting, which occurred last Monday evening, was quite fully attended. The chief interest centered in the adoption of the new charter and the election of a chief engineer. The amount of money paid out during the past year, according to the treasurer’s account, was $6209.96, of which $1504.96 was for the benefit of the fire department.
