Back Roads Stories

On Sunday, March 29, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, neighbors and visitors are invited to gather at the Broad Brook Community Center for Back Roads Stories, a free annual event celebrating the art of personal storytelling and the richness of local voices.

The afternoon will feature community members sharing true stories that are humorous, heartfelt, and everything in between. After the storytelling, guests are invited to enjoy desserts and connect with friends and neighbors.

Back Roads Stories is about bringing people together, listening, reflecting, and remembering how powerful it can be to share our stories with one another and see the world through another’s eyes.

This event is free to all, thanks to support from an AARP Winter Placemaking Grant.
