Growing Together Plant Sale at Centre Congregational Church

Pick up some roots to help our new neighbors put down roots in Brattleboro. Choose from a wide array of annuals, perennials, house plants and vegetable seedlings, on Saturday, May 16, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main Street, Brattleboro.

To donate plants, drop them off on Friday, May 15, in front of the church between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

The Growing Together Plant Sale is literally and figuratively about putting down roots. Proceeds benefit the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) and Community Asylum Seekers (CASP). ECDC is a national resettlement agency that empowers and supports refugees from many countries. CASP supports people who have legal immigration status but no financial support because they often must wait months before they can legally work. Both organizations have been impacted by the government’s halt to funding.
