Craft your own beautiful edge grain cutting board from start to finish. Learn essential skills like wood selection, gluing, planing and finishing. Perfect for entertaining or as a thoughtful, handmade gift.
Learn. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to safely use key woodworking tools like the planer, table saw, router table, drill press, and sanders. We’ll cover how to choose and arrange different hardwoods based on grain and color, glue and clamp your board, and finish it with proper sanding and a food-safe protective coat.
Make. By the end of the class, you’ll make your own multi-hardwood, edge grain cutting board – perfect for everyday use, holiday entertaining, or as a handmade gift. No experience needed!
2 SESSIONS: March 28 & 29
Saturday & Sunday | 10am – 3:30pm | Class will break for a 1/2 hour lunch each day.
Cost: $295 non-members; $250.75 members plus an additional $20 materials fee.
