Begins at Preston Lot (opposite Brattleboro Transportation Center at 77 Flat St) and Downtown Brattleboro

Come for a fun, music-filled vibe! Bring your signs and silly costumes. No speakers scheduled ~ a rally, a march with songs and dance, a “Signs of Facism” march, street theatre and facilitated community conversations around town. We are a small town, part of the sustained continuing national resistance movement against tyranny, determined to rejuvenate democracy. Our peaceful movement is larger than ever and continues to grow. What comes next? How to Plug in! How to Connect!

Democracy, not thrones. Representational voting, not crowns. Creative community care, not kings. We hold the power—and we’re claiming it together!

Our families, neighbors, and communities deserve safety, dignity, and justice. That’s why we’ve been coming together for over a year—building bonds, offering support, and standing strong as neighbors to protect what matters most.

We’re strong. We’re joyful. And we’re committed to positive, creative acts of resistance, solidarity, and hope.

On March 28th, stand up with us and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We are making history. Join us. Let’s keep building this community power!

If you need accommodation or a sign language interpreter please contact us prior to the event and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

The Schedule: 10:00 – 10:30 Gather at Preston Lot off Flat Street for Song Teaching, Singing and Music 10:30 – 11:15 March up Main Street to Centre Congregational Church and then back to Preston through Harmony Lot and Elliot Street 11:30 – 12:30 Attend one of six Forums around Downtown or hang out at Preston Lot with your Neighbors and Music.

Let’s talk about what’s next: How to plug in. How to connect. How to keep the momentum growing!

The Plan: Six different community conversations taking place around town after the march from 11:30am – 12:30pm. Topics will explore where do we go from here, what are we trying to build, what kind of future do we want and how do we get involved in neighborhood connections and politics to help make that happen.
