ROCK RIVER PLAYERS’ NO KINGS CABARET
Fri. and Sat., January 23 and 24 at 7 PM and Sunday, January 25 at 3 PM at the Williamsville Hall, 35 Dover Road, Williamsville.
RRP’s annual cabaret is infused with the satirical spine of the No Kings movement–with lots of laughs and love.
Among several acts: songs by Tom Lehrer, Phil Ochs, Jonathan Larson, Craig Carnelia, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bob Dylan, Stephen Schwartz, Kander and Ebb, Howard Crabtree, originals, and more; a short improvisation set; original satire, revived satires; “news“ clips; excerpts from Sinclair Lewis’ prescient novel, It Can’t Happen Here.
