“Shorts” at Guilford Center Stage

Opening our 11th season, Guilford Center Stage presents 8 short plays in an evening. 4 are by playwrights from Guilford, Halifax and nearby towns, others by authors from further off. A comedy about a mouse, and another about dogs, share the bill with pieces on Jewish history, and two set in Boston: on a university campus and in the North End. Landscape painting, a breakfast drama, and a Valentine’s proposal round out the program. 17 area actors, working with 6 directors, bring this show to the stage at Broad Brook Community Center for performances April 30 through May 3. Tickets, at $16, including sales tax, are available this time just at the door. Cash, check, Venmo, PayPal. All seating is general admission. A half-gallon of Guilford maple syrup will be a door prize at each show. The fully-accessible community center is at 3940 Guilford Center Road, under 4 miles west of the Country Store.
