The Historical Society of Windham County’s Annual Soup Fest and Silent Auction will be held on Sunday, March 29th at the NewBrook Fire Station (Route 30 in Newfane, VT).  The event will help raise funds for the Society’s West River Railroad Museum and the Windham County History Museum.

Sample homemade soups from restaurants along the old West River Railroad Line — from Brattleboro to Londonderry:

Doors open at 4:00PM with a suggested admission donation of $10. Bidding and the 50/50 raffle open at 4:00 and end at 5:30. Soup and bread will be served at 5:30, with desserts to follow.  It will be a great way to shake off the winter blues and come home with a great auction find or two.
