Elliot Street Closure

The Utilities Division will continue with a sewer line repair project on Elliot Street, Monday, July 21, through Wednesday, July 23. Elliot Street will be closed between the entrance to Harmony Lot and Church Street between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. 

The Transportation Center’s Elliot Street Entrance will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, and the Flat Street entrance will remain open. All pedestrian access to the parking Garage will remain open throughout the project. The Harmony Parking Lot will remain open and on-street parking will be limited during this work. 


Church Street Closure

The Utilities Division will be continuing work replacing a sewer line on Church Street on Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15.  Church Street will be closed from 6:00am to 5:00pm for this replacement.  There will be no parking on Church Street during this time and motorists should plan alternative routes .

The Utilities Division will be replacing a sewer line on Church Street beginning on Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11.  Church Street will be closed from 6:00am to 5:00pm for this replacement.  There will be no parking on Church Street during this time and motorists should plan alternative routes .

Church Street Closure

The Utilities Division will be repairing a sewer line on Church Street on Wednesday, May 21.  Church Street will be closed from 8:30am to 2:00pm for this repair.  There will be no parking on Church Street during this time and motorists should plan alternative routes.  


Green Street Closure

PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, August 28, the Utilities Division will be installing a manhole at the intersection of Green Street, Garden Drive and Church Street.  During this project, Church Street will be closed and Green Street will be closed from Bullock Street to High Street.  Residents will be able to access their homes and may choose to utilize Retting Place for access, also.  The work is scheduled between the hours of 6:30 am and 4:00 pm. Motorists should seek alternate routes.


Brattleboro DPW Road Work Update

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

The Department of Public Works continues to have crews out in several areas of town working on road repairs following the severe rainstorm on July 17.  

Motorists and residents are asked to continue to use caution on roadways when approaching crews and equipment working on these repairs and to expect delays.  

Hinesburg Road

The stone culvert failed at the intersection of Hinesburg Road and Melchen Road.  The road will remain closed for several weeks while repairs take place.
