The Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department is inviting the community to participate in an interactive session to share ideas about improvements to the pool and aquatics facilities at Living Memorial Park.
The session will occur on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Brattleboro Municipal Center at 230 Main Street, Brattleboro, in the Selectboard Meeting Room.
This upcoming session, which will be led by the Town’s contracted design consultant team, builds upon the work of a previous session that took place during the summer of 2023.

Special Meeting – Winston Prouty Campus
The Brattleboro Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit at the Winston Prouty Campus. The Commission will meet outside Thomas Hall at 209 Austine Drive, Brattleboro. The Site Visit will consist of hearing about future plans at the campus and walking around the site.

The contractor has completed covering the retaining wall on the west side of VT 142. On the east side of VT 142, work on the mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall is ongoing with the placement of leveling pads. Panels and panel straps may begin to be placed later in the week. Excavation for the gravel wetland has also begun.
Pile driving operations will continue at Pier 2 next week with intermittent pounding of the diesel pile hammer anticipated from 7 AM – 7 PM.
