Our Brattleboro text-book committee have recommended the following books for use in the public schools of the town for five years from the first day of next November, under provisions of the new law: Franklin Readers, Analytic Spellers, Spencerian Writing Books, Reed and Kellogg’s Grammars, Swinton’s Geographics, Franklin Arithmetics, Good Morals and Gentle Manners.
