Produced in 1973, this film comes from early in the career of local filmmaker Alan Dater, who served as the film’s sound recordist. B.B. King, Joan Baez, and other legendary artists performed at New York’s Sing Sing Prison, delivering one of the best shows of their lives. B.B. called it one of his greatest performances, and the New York Daily News hailed it as one of the greatest moments in live entertainment.
