Reception, Journey in Color: A Retrospective of Paintings by Arta Boutcher

Arta L. Boutcher’s exhibit, “Journey in Color – A Retrospective: 2000-2026,” is on view at the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church in West Brattleboro now through July 31st with a reception planned for Sunday, May 24th from noon to 2 pm.

Arta is an American artist of Romanian origin, who has exhibited in many shows in New York and New Jersey.The vivid colors and designs of her artwork are rooted in Romanian folklore. Arta now resides in Dummerston (artwithartaboutcher.com.)

Arta will also present her memoir, Loss, Voyage, and Rebirth, during the May 24th church service at All Souls. It narrates her journey from Bucharest to Paris and then New York and speaks of her family and the transformations they experienced while growing roots in this country. All are welcome to attend.

All Souls Church is located in the West Village Meeting House, 29 South Street, West Brattleboro. The gallery is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 10 – 2 and Sundays,
