Dear Food Lovers,
Thank you for the incredible support you’ve shown me as Leda’s Kitchen celebrates its first anniversary. Since launching the business a year ago and working ten out of the twelve months, I’ve completed nearly a thousand orders, serving close to three thousand dishes! I’ve met lots of new people on Front Porch Forum!
To celebrate, take $5 off your order next week with the code iBratt5. Railways Chicken Curry, Paneer Butter Masala, and Pork Chili Colorado are on the menu.
To add to the celebration, I will be giving away a copy of THE WHOLE BOWL with every order (retail value $16.95) at pickup. I co-authored this book with my mentor, Rebecca Wood. During my time as managing editor at Penguin Books, I had the unique opportunity to work on Rebecca Wood’s Whole Foods Encyclopedia, which inspired me to enroll in the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. Following that, I spent several years as a private chef, cookbook editor, and writer in New York. In 2009, I moved to Brattleboro with my husband, Nash Patel. Many of you originally know me from Dosa Kitchen, the business Nash and I ran for a decade here.
Recently Nash and I decided to close Dosa Kitchen’s US operations, and Nash is now pursuing the Dosa Kitchen product line in India. I can’t adequately express how much the Dosa community in Brattleboro has meant to me. But I think you know.
I have found my way into another dream job, Leda’s Kitchen, now working from my home in the town of my dreams. I’m so happy to continue cooking for you, not just for the love of it, but also just to see you!
To order, just follow these three simple steps!
1. Place your order at http://ledaskitchen.com by Tuesday at 7PM on weeks when I’m cooking.
2. Look for your confirmation email with the pickup address.
3. Collect your meals on Thursday between 4 PM to 7 PM or by special arrangement.
