Support for People Living with Serious Illness

Center for Solace (formerly Brattleboro Area Hospice) is offering support  for people living with Serious Illnesses.

Are you going through treatment? Feeling overwhelmed or scared? Living with a chronic illness or autoimmune condition? Talking with others may help.

The Serious Illness Program support groups provide a space for people to share personal experiences, feelings, coping strategies, and allow for shared learning.

Free, facilitated, peer support groups for people who live in Windham County and neighboring NH towns who are experiencing a life-altering illness and are interested in connecting with others.

  • Serious Illness Group will begin on January 28th and meet weekly for 8 sessions
  • Chronic Illness Group is ongoing and meets every other week
  • Attendance is both in-person and via Zoom

The Serious Illness Program also offers one-on-one volunteer support for people going through a period of increased need due to serious illness.
