  My wish-cast

  I’d like the GOP to split into two parties – center and right.

  I’d like the Democrats to split into two parties – center and left.

  That gives us 4 parties, and then we’ll add in the Green Party because they get close and with 4 they’ll have a chance.

  With 5 parties in the US, deals would need to be made. No one party could get away with obstructing or jamming things through.
