Vermont Comedy All Stars Bring Laughter Back to Next Stage Arts

Putney, VT — Friday, October 3 at 7:30 PM (doors at 6:45 PM)

Next Stage Arts will once again fill with laughter as Gordon Clark and the Vermont Comedy All Stars return for a high-energy stand-up showcase featuring some of the region’s sharpest comedic talents. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.

This edition’s lineup promises an unforgettable night of quick wit, bold storytelling, and delightfully offbeat perspectives:

Tim Lovett — A rising star who burst onto the Western Massachusetts comedy scene in 2014, Lovett has since shared stages with comedy heavyweights like Joe List, Jessica Kirson, Donnell Rawlings, and Mike Epps. He founded Comedy as a Weapon, a production company supporting up-and-coming comics, and created The Quarantined Call-In Show during the pandemic, interviewing legends like Maria Bamford and Alonzo Bodden. With his infectious personality and fearless presence, Lovett is a guaranteed crowd favorite.

Toni Nagy — Known for her viral, genre-bending videos where she dances, rants, and philosophizes — often simultaneously — Toni is a comedic force with a following of more than 850,000 online fans. Fresh off a sold-out off-Broadway run of Grape Culture, she’s currently touring her solo shows Pump Your Pelvis Against the Patriarchy and Men, Come Inside of Me. Expect comedy that’s part stand-up, part spiritual rave, and wholly unforgettable.

Deb Reiser — The “Flatlander from Flatbush” turned Vermont humorist, Deb walked away from lawyering to win back-to-back titles in the Long Island Laugh-Off. Now based in Stowe, she performs throughout New England and has even written jokes for Jay Leno. Her sharp, observational humor brings Brooklyn grit to Green Mountain stages.

Brian Thompson — Winner of Best Newcomer at the 2025 Vermont Comedy Awards, Thompson is a Burlington-based comic whose offbeat wit and self-deprecating storytelling earned him finalist status in Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Contest. Whether he’s reflecting on life as a chocolate-shop cashier or leaning into the absurdities of everyday life, Brian’s humor lands with both freshness and charm.

Gordon Clark — Serving as producer and host, Clark is the driving force behind Vermont Comedy All Stars, a nonprofit that has built a thriving statewide comedy community with shows in Burlington, Montpelier, Waterbury, and Putney. Affectionately known as Vermont’s oldest regularly performing comic, Clark anchors the evening with his trademark blend of warmth, candor, and humor.
