On Saturday, October 10th at 10am, Roger Haydock will lead a hike sponsored by Green Mountain Conservancy on the popular Deer Run Nature Preserve. This hike is for seasoned hikers. The planned hiking route is 3.8 – 4.6 miles. Highlights include: babbling brooks, ancient trees, stone walls, hardwood savannas, and spectacular views. Some sections of this hike are steep. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Bring a lunch.
Directions: Meet at the Deer Run parking lot at 940 Camp Arden Rd. in Dummerston, VT. There will be directional signs from the east side of the Dummerston Covered Bridge.
