Vote for Brattleboro – Best Craft Town

Hi, Everyone,

Brattleboro has been doing well in the voting for Top 10 craft towns, but St. Petersburg is putting on a drive that has us more than 200 votes behind them. That was after we caught up to them and passed them briefly. If we want to have a shot at this, we need to share it and remember to vote every day for Brattleboro. Can you do it?

    Voting against Florida

    Easy to vote, and one can vote every day.

    Giving St. Pete a run for their money is a fun summer activity. That a little Vermont town is nipping at their heels is kinda funny. St. Pete is a big place, with about a quarter of a million residents.

    (What we should do is partner with them, and all go down for a crafty visit in February.)

    Three hours later (than the last posting here) and Brattleboro, population 12,000 has closed to just 50 votes behind St. Pete’s population 250,000. Come on – we can close this gap if we Brattleboroans and friends of Brattleboro mount a concerted effort and vote every day for the next 8 days until Aug 30 at http://americancraftweek.com/top10.

    Bumping this back up on the “Recent Comments” list, so that no one forgets or gets complacent. It’s been neck-and-neck for a while, so it seems that St. Pete is putting out a big effort as well.
    Remember, they’ve got twenty times the population.
    Would be great if we can pull away from the pack.

    Last day for voting. Pull out all the stops today.

    (I think we should get a special ward for percentage of our population. With over 4,000 votes so far, we’ve hit 1/3 of our census numbers. 4k in St Pete is puny by comparison.)

    It appears that we came in second place.

    I still think, by percentage of population, that we are more crafty than St. Pete.

    We should have a craft-off.
