Last Saturday, our estimable and worthy grand juror, called upon our inn-keepers, saloon-keepers, wholesale dealers, and small retailers, without distinction of age or sex, and warned them not to sell any more ardent spirits, ale, lager beer, or other intoxicating drinks, assuring them that if after that day any mother’s son of them should be found violating the laws of the State, in such cases made and provided, they should suffer all the pains and penalties for such disobedience.
