May 19, 2019 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
You are cordially invited to ‘Re-mark-able New Locations’, an interactive installation by Nina Isabelle and Nye Ffarrabas at C.X. Silver Gallery Brattleboro VT. Opening reception, artist talk, performance and discussion: Saturday May 18, 4-6pm and Sunday May 19, 1-3pm.
Nina’s thirty monoprints are a series of art objects inspired by Nye Ffarrabas’ poetry and produced using a car as the printing press. Explore Nina‘s concept of the exhibition space as interactive sculpture in the recently created second gallery.
Re-mark-able and interactive: There are erasable chalk markers for visitors to explore adding words and marks to the mylar outer sheet covering each monoprint. There are some mylar stations in the gallery without a monoprint awaiting the marks and words of others to develop a composition.
Celebrating Nye’s (formerly Bici Forbes and Bici Hendricks) Fluxus event scores, 60 years of visual and interactive art, 80 years of writing poems, ‘Fluxus Dialogue’, the exhibition, continues in the front gallery.
Exhibition continues through June 2019, open daily by appointment, (802) 257-7898 x1
