River Celebration is our annual event that celebrates the nationally-recognized Connecticut River watershed and the people who love it.

Enjoy our Farm/River Roundtable: Doing Right by Our Rivers, with featured scientists, farmers and environmentalists – moderated by Vermont Lt. Governor David Zuckerman.
Participate in one of our morning excursions
Eat a fabulous lunch while listening to live music
Honor our Bud Foster Awardees – individuals who are outstanding, devoted and accomplished river advocates

Morning Excursions: 10:15-11:30am (unless otherwise noted)

Paddling Adventure with Annette Spaulding (BYO canoe/kayak)
Fly Casting Workshop with David Deen
Freshwater Mussel Ecology Workshop with Ayla Skorupa
Pontoon Cruise with CRC staff
Retreat Farm Trail Walk: Past, Present and Future (begins at 10:30)
Self-guided Farm Experience (ongoing 10am–12:30pm)

Lunch by Tito’s Taqueria and Vermont Country Deli: 11:15am-12:30pm

For Kids Only! – Ice cream-making workshop: 12:30-1:30pm
