Kids will make Caldo Verdé, a traditional Portuguese soup with sausage, potatoes, cabbage and Swiss chard (the Vermont Harvest of the Month), and a vegetarian version as well. Kids will be introduced to Portuguese culture and even learn a few words of Portuguese. In the Brattleboro Food Co-op Cooking Classroom, Canal St. entrance, Thursday, September 20, 3:30-5pm.
