Pattern Relief Carving

May 4, 2024 to May 5, 2024 9:00 am

Learn. Students will explore the applications of decorative pattern carving traditions and motifs as they create their own hand carved designs. First, students will learn carving patterns using gouges and v-chisels. Then, they can choose how they’d like to apply their carvings, whether they take shape on serving boards, charcuterie boards, or hanging panels that can be used for coat and spoon racks.

Make. Students will make their own carvings of their own design and shape.
