The State of Vermont, Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation (VTDEC) seeks proposals for the review and assessment of whether the location, design, construction and capacity of the Cooling Water Intake Structures (CWIS) at the Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee Facility (Entergy) in Vernon, Vermont complies with the ‘Best Technology Available’ (BTA) to minimize adverse environmental impacts in accordance with the Clean Water Act (CWA) §316(b) and applicable federal and state regulations.
