Curbside Trash, Recycling and Compost Update
This spring, Casella Waste Services took over trash, recycling and compost removal for the Town of Brattleboro. During this change, residents have not experienced any interruption in service.
Going forward your pickup schedule will not change, however the title will change. If you were previously following the “A week” schedule it has been renamed to “B week” and if you were previously following the “B week” schedule, it has been renamed to “A week”. (In other words if you were an “A” you’re now a “B” and if you were a “B” you’re now an “A”)
Helpful reminders
Be sure to have your trash, recycling and compost curbside by 6:30 AM on your pick up day.
Many times there are separate trucks picking up recycling and compost which will result in different pick up times for each.
Attached is a copy of the “Street Pick Up Schedule” and the UPDATED “A/B Week Calendar” which can also be found at the Town’s website, www.brattleboro.org along with other information regarding curbside pickup. Weird. For what reason could it be that they have kept the original schedule with no change in the dates; but found it necessary to retitle “Schedule A” to Schedule “B” and “Schedule “B” to “Schedule “A?”
