Brattleboro Roadway Crack Sealing Work Scheduled to Begin August 27

The Town of Brattleboro has hired Indus, a private contractor, to complete crack sealing work on various road surfaces throughout town. Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and will continue through the week, weather permitting.

To allow crews to safely and efficiently complete the work:

Parking will not be permitted on the affected streets between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect travel restrictions and delays around active work zones.


Fuller Park Public Forum Postponed to July 10

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the public forum at Fuller Park, which was originally scheduled for tonight, Thursday, June 20, has been postponed.

The public forum has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fuller Park (also known as Esteyville Common), located at 115 Estey Street in Brattleboro. The rain date for this event is July 11, 2024, at the same time and location.


Brattleboro Paving Schedule

Starting Tuesday, September 17, Northeast Paving (a contractor of the Town) will begin the paving portion of our annual capital paving project. Weather permitting, the following schedule is anticipated:

Tuesday, September 17
Old Guilford Road – One-way alternating traffic. Expect traffic disturbances.


Updated Brattleboro Paving Schedule

 Starting Thursday, September 12th, Northeast Paving (a contractor of the town) will begin the cold planing portion of our annual capital paving project. Weather permitting, the following schedule is anticipated: 

Thursday, September 12 

Cold planing: Estey St. (Birge St. to Pleasant St.), Fairview St. (#51 Fairview St. to Maple St.) 

Friday, September 13 

Cold planing: Oak St. (Chapin St. to High St.), Green St. (Church St. to #164 Green St.)
