The power at our world headquarters on Cedar Street was knocked out for a short while today, but a problem said to be at the Dummerston substation has kept over 1,700 without power in Dummerston this afternoon. Green Mountain Power has the outage listed and is working on restoration of services.

Power was out from noon to 2:30 p.m. here on Grassy Brook. Thanks for telling me why.
Those Dang Drones!
I hear an NSA drone flew into one of the new VELCO power lines while on a mission to take surveillance photographs of the Crowell Lot site. If true, those skateboarders are wreaking havoc in our town before the first shovel even hits the ground!
Yup here at my top secret
Yup here at my top secret Vermont lodge; Brattleboro station power was lost for a good five minutes. I thought it was the raccoons playing games with the power switch again. I thought I was hearing them chuckling but maybe they were operating that drone to seek out ripe food in the trash bins up in Dummerston. Got board and crashed the drone into a transformer.
Beware of the raccoons using their “iphone” to operate the drones. I hear they can be seen riding skateboards over by Crowell in the wee morning as well.
