Emergency repairs at the Harris Place railroad embankment and at the Living Memorial Park swimming pool will be issues taken up at the Brattleboro Selectboard’s first regular meeting in June.
The Brattleboro Energy Committee will meet on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 5:00pm in the Hanna Cosman Meeting Room at the Municipal Center.
PART 3 FEDERAL MARIJUANA LAWS: In part 3 we look at some of Title 21, and then take another break, because reading marijuana laws is really boring; or too shocking and upsetting to read the draconian prison terms. No wonder the U.S. Congress got away with making so many laws, they just figure the public goes to sleep trying to read them.
Brattleboro Community Justice Center, will be retiring in August. Kehnemuyi stepped into the position in August 2015 during a period of significant organizational changes, including new by-laws, a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Town of Brattleboro, and a new Board of Directors. During these organizational changes, Kehnemuyi has overseen the day-to-day operations of the BCJC, providing Restorative Justice programs for the Department of Corrections and the Brattleboro Area community. The BCJC is stronger for his service.

Today we start off with Title 18 Criminal laws: explosives & marijuana; prisons & marijuana; and then Title 19 international treaties & marijuana. Please keep in mind that changing state marijuana laws does NOT change federal laws which are spelled three different ways in the federal laws: marijuana, marihuana and cannabis.

O.K., I don’t recall the name of the movie, and I’d have to dig through boxes to find it, but basically it goes like this, sort of:
This is the Marijuana bill we are waiting to see if Vermont Governor Phil Scott will sign or veto. The legislature could overcome a veto. It says Fentanyl, but it gets around to the marijuana, keep scrolling down!
The Brattleboro Citizen Police Communications Committee (CPCC) will meet on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 5:30pm at Brooks Memorial Library in the Meeting Room.
