The United States Senators are debating the
“One Big Beautiful Bill”
now on Sunday June 29, 2025,
but if you go to www.senate.gov
and click the link to view them live,
there is nothing on the screen
that tells you which U.S. Senator
is speaking at the moment.
So, I called the office of the Secretary of the Senate
in Washington, D.C. (202)224-3622
and informed them that voters have a right and a need to know
who is speaking, which U.S. Senator is speaking,
what political party are they representing,
and what State they are from; and that this information
could be put in a corner of the screen or at the bottom.
The woman who answered the phone said she would tell their
technical people who run the website what I want.
Well, we’ll see if they do it.
