For every vote his newly proposed party takes, we must have equal and opposite votes to dilute his!

To start a new minor party under Vermont law we need at least 4 people in each of 10 towns.
You will join a committee in your town and town committee members will become
Chair, 2nd Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
At least 12 members from the town committees will volunteer
to join the State Committee which will have
a Chair, a 2nd Chair, a Treasurer and a Secretary.
Then we ask our members to run for statewide political office and federal office in 2026
for United States Senator, Representative to U.S. Congress, Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State,
Attorney General, State Auditor, State Treasurer and state Representatives and state Senator.
Candidates for minor political parties in Vermont do not have to collect petition signatures,
just fill out the forms required by the Vermont Secretary of State,
which include a candidate consent form to agree to have your name on the official election ballot,
and for statewide offices you have to fill out a financial disclosure form.
Candidates for federal office must comply with all of the laws of the Federal Election Commission.

Please note that Cris Ericson campaigned for 20 years to help make marijuana legal in Vermont. Marijuana is still illegal under federal law, and we don’t know if President Donald Trump will attack pot shops in the U.S.A. where cannabis is legal under state laws.
