Full Moon Oct. 6, 2025!

I think the biggest stories in the United States right now are the protests against National Guard Troops which President Donald Trump wants to send to various cities, all of which have filed lawsuits to stop deployments.

The problem, as I see it, is there is a full moon tonight, and that can get people going. How excited will protesters be during a full moon?

The moon in Aries is the sign of the Leader, and the Sun is in Libra, the sign of balance, so people are waiting for federal court rulings on whether or not President Donald Trump can control various cities with the National Guard, because he doesn’t think the cities are in control of themselves with masses of homeless people living in tents and drug addicts sleeping out in the open on the streets.

I saw some “live cam” video footage of Portland, Oregon on Youtube last night, which is where you can usually find the news a day before the television stations broadcast it. There did seem to be more police than protesters. If you search for “live cam” of Burlington, Vermont and compare it to “live cam” streaming videos coming out of Portland, Oregon, then Burlington looks like the most peaceful place on earth with happy college students buying food from a street vendor and looking for someone to flirt with.

Everyone has a different reaction to a FULL MOON, or none at all. For myself, I decided to finally give up on the idea of finding people to join my proposed new minor political party, the SNOWBALL PARTY, because no one joined in two months of searching for people. O.K., well, two women came along, but then some guy from some political party that lost its ballot access in Colorado snuck up and “stole” them away from me. No doubt they will get on the ballot one way or the other. His problem was that his party lost ballot status in Colorado, another group took their name and filed it with the Colorado Secretary of State, so apparently they are trying to regain control of the party name by getting people in Vermont to agree to file here with that name. Blah, blah, blah, politics is ridiculous.

So, I faced the full moon realization that I am alone again, the SNOWBALL PARTY name never worked for me, and I need a new political party name because there is still time to form a new minor political party before the 2026 election.

Solution? It’s a full moon! What better time to search for available domain names! The domain name is the address where people find you on the internet. I can’t believe how many domain names I searched and thought about and then while doing my laundry I thought, wait a minute? How about a generic political party domain name? After all, most of us can only afford to buy generic laundry detergent, generic food and generic prescription drugs, etc. I went through a huge list of names, most of which were all taken, having to do with Tax Revolts and Tax Revolutions and so forth. Then, feeling the full effects of the Moon in Aries, the Leader, opposing the peaceful Sun in Aries, seeking balance, I put in the domain search for “Vermont Party”. Just plain, simple, generic, no political name, no political party affiliation, no stand on issues that bother the hell out of us, just a pure, simple “Vermont Party”. Ta da!
